During my early years in the Royal Air Force, I discovered a real enthusiasm for exercise and adventure. I found the more active I was, the happier and healthier I became.
As well as regular training, my hobbies tend towards the great outdoors (mountaineering, mountain running, cycling, skiing, and rock climbing).
Over recent years I have developed a passion for Obstacle Course Racing, competing across the UK and Europe, and qualifying for the OCR World Championships & European Championships in 2018 & 2019.
Since leaving the military I have qualified as a L3 Personal Trainer with courses in Advance Resistance Training, Functional Fitness, and Suspension Training. I also hold the UK Athletics (Fell) Leader in Running Fitness certification from the Fell Runners Association.
a long adventurous or eventful journey or experience.
And that is how we promote health & fitness. We don't believe in quick fixes or short term changes. We work with you to achieve long lasting improvements to your physical and mental wellbeing, whether an established athlete, recreational exerciser, or simply looking to become more active.
Just a few of the benefits of increased activity include:
Improved fitness and more energy
Reduced risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and some cancers.
Improved mental health - reducing your risk of stress, depression, dementia, and helping overcome anxiety, addiction and eating disorders.
